BDCI ,established in 1995, is a joint venture between CIL and the leading American power tools company, Black & Decker. It designs, develops and manufactures consumer cordless power tools that are sold exclusively to its U.S. partner through a worldwide distribution network.

Since establishment, the company has developed over 100 models of power tools including drills, screwdrivers, circular saws, reciprocating saws, floor care products and other accessories. Electronically linked to design centers in Europe and the U.S., BDCI has become an integral part of a worldwide design powerhouse, bringing state-of-the-art products to meet changing world demands.
